Kokoro

‘Kokoro’ is a single Japanese word that we can translate as ‘inner self’ but that literally embraces two words, which are ‘mind’ and ‘heart’.

The solo is a personal research of the ‘unicity of the self’. An inner journey that became physic path through the space. The naked body, with it’s specific architecture, is exposed, transfigured, becoming a poetic medium; letting emerge elements that belongs to an imaginary word. These images as roots of a collective consciousness , sublimate in a personal story that becomes, through the scene, a collective experience.

“Dans “Kokoro”, Luna Cenere nous livre une autre provocation : quid de notre perception d’un corps nu ? Soit la fameuse ” Naissance du Monde ” de Courber mais abordée à l’envers… du corps, l’arrière, pas l’avant. Soit un postérieur impressionnant, savamment éclairé, surmontant une paire de bras qui semble poser ce corps à l’envers. La musculature impressionnante des jambes en quasi gros plan fait aussi hésiter sur la nature du sexe : homme, femme ? L’exposition du dos et de la chevelure nous fait entrer dans un univers baudelairien plus classique du désir et de ses troubles. Est-ce que je vois bien ce que je vois ? Et j’en fais quoi ?”
