In a predominant culture in which the image, the aesthetics of beauty is increasingly linked to performance, to the hyper-real, to the virtual, to the speed of reaction, to the projection into the future at the expense of being in the present, to a disconnection between what we are and what we would like to be because ideally adherent to a socially and culturally shared standard, what is the role of dance practices and what can be the practices capable of sensitively reconnecting us to our inhabiting ourselves?L.C.
