Genealogia _ time specific
Genealogia_Time Specific is a performance conceived as a show but also as a shared practice and a choreographic research that can be declined in different forms and formats of listening and perception.
In addition to the work on stage, the Genealogia project includes moments of sharing practices and workshops with citizens and non-professionals.
“For me it’s like starting all over again – explains Luna Cenere – in fact, the previous stages of the Genealogia project in Emilia-Romagna and in the Marche region were carried out before the blocking of activities due to the pandemic. Now everything is different: new research will be born in Rovereto, the result of the traumatic experience we have lived. And even stronger will be the impact in its ‘setting’ at the Campana dei Caduti (Bell of the Fallen), a symbolic, historical place of commemoration of suffering and loss.
I imagine a collective ritual having the human as its focus. The space of the Bell and the natural light of the twilight will allow the group to have a unique visual, sound, spatial and gaze relationship even in the absence of physical contact “.
Performer and audience sharing an Adagio of bodies, landscape in landscape, embraced by the deep and visceral soundscape signed by the Neapolitan composer Renato Grieco, spokesperson for instrumental reductionism and psychoacoustics.
Genealogia – project of choreographic research is a shared practice and a choreographic research that can be applied in to different form and formats of use, born with the desire to carry out an artistic, choreographic and human experiment.
In this sense, a group of professionals leaded by Luna Cenere researches and creates a movement vocabulary and a structure of composition. The project then as the aim to involve citizens of different places to share the research and open it to create each time a new structure that involves them and that can be shared on stage.
The show reaches the characteristic of a stage installation, as can be seen also in the previous works of Luna Cenere, to which is added the relational character of a community, a group that becomes expression, place, landscape in transformation and migration. Continuing in her research on the body lying on the condition of nudity, Luna brigs out its metaphysical and animal potential.
